Relevant and significant details for pursuing B. com course

 The most famous and well known undergraduate course in the country is the Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) and specially the bcom colleges in Bangalore. This course is completed after the 12th grade. You must choose a stream for your 12th grade, such as commerce, arts, or the science stream and pupils who chose commerce continue in the stream by choosing B.Com. Students from other streams, on the other hand, are permitted to pursue a B. Com. This is because this course offers a wide range of opportunities for further education and career advancement. 


One of the most important benefits of a B.Com. degree is that you can find a good job and begin working immediately after graduation. You can also pursue postgraduate degrees such as the MBA or the PGDM. What students study and learn in their B.Com. degree is a great foundation for pursuing PGDM or MBA course in future. As a result, if you plan to pursue B.Com. after 12th grade, you are on the right track to a good education. 


The duration of the B. Com. the course is one year. 


The B.Com. degree is split into three years of study. Every year, you must choose a specialization. In addition, you are allowed to have two backlogs every year. However, in order to advance to the next year, these backlog subjects must be cleared in the following semester. You will have to repeat the year if you do not pass them or if you fail more than two topics. 


Eligibility Criteria for the B. Com. Program 

The B.Com programme is not open to everyone. There are some very important and specific criteria to take admission in bcom course: 


  • You must have completed your 12th grade in commerce. 

  • Other 12th-grade graduates may be eligible to apply at the discretion of the university and institution. 

  • Cut-off percentages exist at colleges. You must have received a score that is more than or equal to the cut-off percentage. Then and only then will you be admitted. Colleges continue to lower cut-off percentages until all seats are filled. 

  • Private institutions can offer direct admission regardless of a candidate's grade point average. 


The Admissions Process for B.Com. 


There are numerous excellent universities in India, but each one has its own admissions process. When it comes to admission to the B.Com. degree programme, however, these procedures may not be too dissimilar.


The following is the standard admission procedure for a B. Com course: 


  • Following the completion of your 12th grade, you must complete the university paperwork found on the institution's website. 

  • Fill out the form with a list of colleges you'd like to attend. 

  • You must provide a digital copy of your 12th-grade transcript with the application and pay the applicable online costs. 

  • Admission will be given based on your 12th grade performance and recommended colleges. 

  • If you don't get into the college of your choice, you can wait until the university admissions process is completed before applying for direct admission. There are some best degree colleges in  Bangalore where you may want to apply.
